Vp of Product

We are a Berlin-based startup that has successfully established a leading B2B marketplace for industrial metals across Europe. As a lean team of young, international, and passionate talents, we've recently reached breakeven and are gearing up for the next phase of growth. The Opportunity Join our VC-backed company during this exciting phase of growth. As the VP of Product, you'll spearhead our data-centric approach to supercharge our trading activities through technology and innovation. You will be responsible for co-developing the product vision and roadmap and owning the product pipeline to ensure we are always shipping and constantly delivering value to users. This position is based full-time in our vibrant Berlin office. We believe that working together in a dynamic office setting fosters collaboration and accelerates the growth of our ambitious startup. Co-develop a data-centric product vision and roadmap in close coordination with our existing Founder team that aligns with business priorities and customer needs. Tasks - Build and lead a cross-functional team of Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Product Managers to bring the product vision to life, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize output. - Prioritize initiatives and features based on their potential impact on business goals, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights. - Embrace a "don't make the wheel again" mindset, comparing third-party integrations with own software development to enhance product functionality and to meet evolving needs. - Drive the development of rapid prototypes and MVPs in close collaboration with customers and customer-facing teams. - Own the product pipeline and maintain a high velocity of product development, based on a strong understanding of user needs, great product intuition and rigorous analytics - Define and track key performance metrics, analyze product performance and user engagement to drive continuous improvement. **Requirements**: - Entrepreneurial Drive: Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think creatively in a dynamic startup environment, recognize opportunities and change strategies as needed. - Experience: Proven track record in building world-class products in product-first companies before, ideally B2B Marketplaces as Product Manager.
