As Corporate Information Security Officer | Team Lead Information Security (M/F/d), you take on a visible and trusted role at the heart of our organisation. You act as the key contact for government agencies in all matters of information security and represent MB Energy in the event of a cybersecurity incident. In this governance-focused position, you shape our security strategy, support resilience across the business, and help foster a strong security mindset in an international and fast-paced environment.

Your tasks in a nutshell:
- Lead Information Security Strategy: You design, implement, and continuously improve a company-wide Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with current technical standards and legal requirements.- Advise and Collaborate: You act as a strategic advisor to senior management on all topics related to information security and IS emergency preparedness, working closely with leadership, employees, and external auditors.- Monitor and Ensure Compliance: You plan, conduct, and accompany internal and external ISMS audits, track corrective actions, and ensure the documentation and enforcement of security-related measures.- Train and Raise Awareness: You develop and deliver awareness programs, trainings, and workshops on information security topics to foster a strong security culture across the organisation.- Coordinate Crisis Response: You support the company’s crisis management team in security-related matters, develop and maintain the IS emergency concept, and plan regular emergency drills in coordination with leadership.- Respond and Document: You handle security incidents, propose and track remediation measures, and ensure thorough documentation of all cases and activities.

What helps you to fulfill this role:
- Professional Background: Several years of experience in a governance-focused information security role, ideally as a Corporate Information Security Officer (CISO) in a KRITIS (critical infrastructure) environment.- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the energy sector, ideally with experience in terminal operations or related infrastructure.- Governance & Audit Focus: Strong knowledge of ISMS frameworks and audit practices; comfortable operating at the interface between compliance, risk management, and business strategy.- Business Understanding: Ability to balance information security requirements with business needs, demonstrating commercial awareness and sound judgement.- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams and cross-functional working groups in a security or compliance context.- Language Skills: Full pr
