**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a
**(Senior-) Scientist Single-Cell/ Spatial Transcriptomics** to strengthen our team in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all research and preclinical/ clinical development departments. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the global team’s success.

**Your mission**:
The job profile is focused on the
**development and implementation of novel NGS-based technologies to guide target characterization and validation**, which will involve but is not limited to these tasks:

- Utilize your technological know-how and scientific excellence in the area of **spatial transcriptomics** (i.e., methods such as 10x Visium, Slide-seq, Nanostring GeoMx) to drive forward the adoption of next-generation target validation methods and lead the generation and evaluation of spatial transcriptomics data.
- Provide **scientific leadership** for our next-generation sequencing (NGS) projects and strategically develop our NGS technology portfolio. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of innovative sequencing technologies.
- Implement novel assays and workflows to **improve the efficiency and throughput of our routine NGS pipeline**.
- Analyze and **interpret large-scale sequencing data** to identify novel targets and biomarkers for cancer immunotherapy supported by advanced tools and resources entailed in our XPRESIDENT® platform.
