To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

**Research Scientist (f/m/d) for Molecular Therapy (Rare Diseases)**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Exploration and discovery of novel RNA-based therapeutic approaches in the field of Molecular therapy-rare diseases
- Planning, execution, interpretation and documentation of research reports to develop preclinical proof of concept studies (in-vitro and in-vivo analyses)
- Written and oral presentation of research results at scientific meetings
- Establish and perform in-vitro and in-vivo to determine on target expression and efficacy

**Your qualifications**:

- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in life science with a strong research background in rare diseases (Eye-Liver preferably)
- Strong expertise in cell and molecular biology methods to develop assays for target validation and proof of concept studies
- FELASA B is a must
- Excellent troubleshooting and ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team (senior scientists and research associates)
- High degree of initiative to solve technical & biological problems
- Good communication/presentation skills internally and excellent team spirit
- Fluency in English is a must
