**Your Tasks**:
We are looking for a motivated leader for our Productivity Development Team who is interested in a broad range of responsibilities.

One focus of the team is the individualized integration of 3rd party products for IONOS customers. Another is the provision of open source products as a managed service in the IONOS cloud environment. In addition to integration, the team is responsible for the design and development of cloud services and, in close cooperation with our operations team, for their operation.

In addition to development, the team is responsible for 3rd level support and quality management of its product portfolio. In development, automation has already been driven forward within the framework of CI/CD; this is now to be successively increased in QA and support topics as well. A second challenge is the paradigm shift from hosting services on internal platforms to the IONOS Cloud environment available to end customers.

Our services are primarily developed in Java and hosted as microservices on Kubernetes. Tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab as well as Helm and Terraform are used. The development process is organized in Scrum, using existing frameworks for quality assurance and securing the services.

The team currently consists of 13 people and you will be expected to provide leadership to support them as they work to deliver the best possible solutions. In doing so, you will report directly to the Head of IONOS Core Development.
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the team.
- Link between strategic planning and operational implementation. Within this framework, planning and implementation of complex technical projects.
- Further development of current work processes (Agile implementation processes, security and privacy processes, etc.).
- Ensuring a healthy atmosphere and good communication structure within the team.
- Support team members in their individual development with the help of coaching, counseling and/or mentoring.
- Technical cooperation with important internal interfaces, such as the technical (team) leaders and our product managers.
- Point of contact and source of inspiration for other developers\*/teams regarding the integration and adaptation of their projects to the IONOS Cloud landscape by: Creating best practice templates for new and existing microservices and product integrations in terms of code base, CI/CD, testing, instrumentation, etc.
- Provide frameworks, workshops, coaching, documentation, service templates, etc.

**We Appreciate**:

- Agile mindset and extensive experience with modern development practices.
- Experience in leading teams and onboarding and retaining new employees. Ideally combined with coaching and mentoring experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with microservices and REST-APIs development, in a cloud-native environment preferably in Java.
- Solid hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines as well as Kubernetes container orchestration and Helm Charts.
- Constructive, helpful mindset, enjoying a cross-functional role.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in written, oral and presentation formats.
- A very good command of both written and spoken English.
