**Joint Source-Channel Coding based on LDPC and Polar Coding**

**Your responsibilities**:

- working on funded projects with an emphasis on on inter-linking source and channel coding based on LDPC and Polar codes
- preparation of presentations, publications, and reports
- working in an interdisciplinary team
- working on a PhD or scientific research

**Your profil**:

- University degree (Diploma, Master) in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or similar majors with focus in Communications
- Very good knowledge of coding, especially LDPC and/or Polar coding
- Safe foundation in communications, information theory, and digital signal processing.
- Proficiency in English, some German basics are useful, but not required
