The university is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in biochemistry. The appointment may be made at the Assistant or Associate level, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

**Assistant / Associate Professor in Biochemistry (f/m/d)**:
(full-time, tenure, initially limited to 3 years)

**Your responsibilities**:
The university is highly supportive of junior faculty, providing both formal and informal mentoring, administrative support, as well as a flexible budget for establishing an internationally visible research group. Several opportunities exist to develop multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with other research groups or our industrial partners and to leverage existing research facilities.

**Your profile**:

- PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, e.g., Bioinformatics
- Strong publication record in relevant international journals
- Documented research activities using modern technologies applied in biochemistry and molecular genetics.
- Experience in the acquisition of Third-Party funding
- Intercultural experience and competence
- Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, the language of instruction and communication on campus
- Ideally, you would be eligible for an ERC starting grant (assistant level) or an ERC consolidator grant (associate level).
