**Role**:Compliance Officer (Mid)**
**Company**: international bank (saving deposits and loans for individual customers)
**Location**: Berlin (Mitte)
**Type of contract**:perm,** directly with the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local legislation and EU-wide legal requirements.
- Provide insights and advice on key regulatory aspects related to the Bank's digital transformation.
- Prioritize and address regulatory matters related to consumer protection, financial crime, and payments.
- Identify potential risks and areas requiring remediation while aligning with the Bank's strategic goals.
- Offer solid advice to business units, emphasizing compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Interpret complex legal requirements and assess their implementation in an operational setting.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- In-depth knowledge and previous work experience with **German and European regulations** in consumer credit, banking, and fintech/payments.
- Prior experience in **audit or control functions,** with familiarity in working within a second line/independent control function.
- AML/KYS experience;
- Proven ability to conduct audits, compile detailed findings, and present recommendations.
- **German and English** advanced skills;
**Salary**: 5.000,00€ - 7.000,00€ per month
