Senior PR Executive

The Senior PR Executive will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of SiteMinder’s evolving global PR and corporate communications strategy. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Communications & PR, the Senior PR Executive will play a key part in driving brand awareness, reputation and advocacy, both internally and externally at SiteMinder, through highly engaging, relevant and timely communications for various mediums and audiences.

People who are successful in this role...
- 4+ years PR/communications experience, ideally gained from within a B2B client environment
- Superior writing and editing skills to target any type of audience
- Ability to turn detailed, complex, technical jargon into consumable, meaningful and engaging copy
- Creative and inquisitive mind with a deep understanding of what makes a good story
- Sharp attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to adopt and maintain brand style and tone
- Great research and interview skills with the ability to extract useful insights
- Team-oriented collaborator
- Confident and able to develop strong rapport with key stakeholders
- Deadline-driven and organised, with an ability to manage multiple priorities at any given time
- Sound understanding of the various functions within Marketing and how they contribute business value
- Passionate about communications with a positive attitude and keenness to learn
- Work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Journalism or similar communications degree preferred

This job is to:

- Provide local support to manage SiteMinder’s appointed PR agencies in Europe and Latin America
- Enhance the global PR editorial calendar for both the SiteMinder and Little Hotelier brands, including awards opportunities
- Work closely with the Communications Manager to assist in the development of thought leadership articles and other communication material as directed
- Proofread content and other BAU marketing materials drafted by other members of the Marketing team when required
- Actively identify opportunities to showcase brand advocates and support the Communications Manager to develop local PR case studies and testimonials for the SiteMinder websites
- Process invoices for all PR-related expenditure
- Follow SiteMinder’s best practice procedures, specifically with regards to escalating any security concerns or breach of security
- Assist with other duties as required
- Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices introduced and maintained by SiteMinder
