Director Discrete Power Devices E-mobility

In your new role you will: - Be responsible for the **development & release of all new CD Discrete products **[for PL34] - **Lead a team **of 7 members in Munich and possibly 6 functionally in another entity (Villach) - Be responsible for the **roadmap **of **d **iscrete product development**: - Align the **product requirements **to Infineon’s **power product **& **process ability **, technically and timely, incl. joint customer development collaborations - Be responsible for intensive **stakeholder **and **expectation management **of Infineon´s R&D to internal departments like Operations, IPC, PSS as well as to **external customers**: - **Organize and foster the internal cross divisional support teams **(>10 in Munich, Malaysia, Dresden, Villach, etc.) You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs and commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high-priority and focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both sides. You are best equipped for this task if you have: - A degree in **Physics **, **Electrical Engineering **or comparable, **preferably a PhD**: - At least **8 years of experience **in the **development of high voltage **power **automotive industry devices**: - **Leadership **and **negotiation skills **as a plus - **International business expertise**: - A deep **technical understanding of power electronic device physics **, **wafer **and **package technology development **and **semiconductor processing**: - Several years of experience in **managing project **s **related to semiconductor devices - The ability to **understand **and **structure complex situations**: manage crisis situations, consolidate and present those to senior management level - A **proactive and people-oriented mindset with strong communication and moderation skills **to align between various stakeholders - Convincing **communication and presentation skills **to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders in an **intercultural environment**: - **Fluent English skills; **German is a plus In our headquarters in Neubiberg near Munich, more than 6000 employees are working in research & development, several central functions, IT and many more. **Driving decarbonization and digitalization.
