About the Role:
Vantage is seeking a hands-on Senior Delivery Director to take full responsibility for day-to-day, on-site execution of our highest-priority data center projects in Frankfurt. This role is laser-focused on construction delivery, permitting, and authority liaison. We need someone who can ensure regulatory compliance is met, all permitting processes are fully aligned, and project execution stays on track to meet critical timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own full delivery of construction on-site, acting as the single point of accountability for execution
- Build strong working relationships with local German authorities to drive and secure permits and approvals
- Navigate complex permitting environments to unblock delays and accelerate delivery timelines
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure alignment with design, compliance, and company standards
- Act as the local authority liaison, ensuring all local legal and technical requirements are met
- Partner with contractors and vendors on-site to drive efficiency and quality
- Serve as the local expert, knowing exactly who to contact and how to escalate issues within public and utility bodies
- Provide regular site updates and risk assessments to leadership to ensure executive alignment
- Collaborate with internal teams (Construction, Engineering, Operations), but remain embedded day-to-day on site

Key Requirements:

- Native German speaker, fluent in both written and spoken communication
- Based in or around Frankfurt, with deep local knowledge of the region
- Strong existing network within local government authorities, utility providers, and permitting bodies
- 8+ years of experience in construction delivery, preferably in the data center or critical infrastructure sector
- Proven track record of driving permitting, compliance, and site coordination for complex construction projects
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with external stakeholders
- High level of accountability, initiative, and precision in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
