Join us as a Treasury Associate

- You’ll be providing financial support to our Treasury function, focusing on the product and finance control and reporting functions for complex treasury products
- It’s a chance to develop your skills and build working relationships with colleagues, leveraging off best practices across the wider Finance function

**What you'll do**:
In this role, you'll be the Treasury Associate of the NatWest Markets PLC Frankfurt branch and will report to the Branch Treasurer. This role will see you supporting financial forecasting and rich modelling, making sure they're performed on an accurate and timely basis.

You'll contribute to the branch's governance meetings, including the Asset Liability committee, and deliver elements of substantiated capital and regulatory data for the internal capital adequacy assessment process, internal liquidity adequacy assessment process and risk bearing capacity return.

You’ll also be:

- Reviewing and signing off on the daily branch treasury flash profit and loss in its risk books while acting as a liaison to the Payments and Finance function
- Preparing and delivering source system reconciliations for legal entities
- Identifying and providing solutions to issues arising from financials produced while delivering input into control and legal entity regulatory data
- Responsible for daily branch treasury delivery, monitoring all bank accounts of the branch, including the central bank accounts while liaising with our treasury function

You’ll also need:

- To be fluent in German, with the confidence to speak in this language in a business context
- A good understanding of complex treasury products and their accounting standards
- Knowledge of the banking environment and treasury products, especially in the context of national German and EU regulations
- A good understanding of reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation
- Analytical and technical accounting skills and an understanding of how to work cross-functionally in a team
