**Purpose of the role**

Proton is expanding and seeking an SEO Content Manager with demonstrable experience and proven results. You understand the power of persuasive writing, are detail-oriented, organised, and can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. You also understand how a brand builds trust and authority, and demonstrates expertise. As a part of our SEO team, you will steer the development of content that inspires people to take steps toward securing their digital lives, engage with our products, and build an internet where privacy is the default. We prize people who can quickly grasp difficult technical topics and turn user insight into content roadmaps. Experience in SEO copywriting is essential for this role, as you will be writing landing pages and contributing to other content pieces which provide answers to search queries relevant to our brand and products.Your writing will be inspirational and help drive conversion. Together with other Proton teams, you will identify opportunities and deliver on tight deadlines.** **Working at Proton requires a strong understanding of what makes our user community tick. **What you will do**

As a Localization Writer at Proton, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital content to resonate with specific local markets, emphasizing our commitment to online privacy and security. Your expertise in localization, transcreation, and content creation will help make our products more accessible and engaging to diverse audiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Content Creation & Localization: Create, transcreate and/or localize marketing content for a specific local market (websites, landing pages, media campaigns, blog posts, newsletters, etc.)
- User Interface Localization: Adapt the user interface and product-related content to enhance accessibility and user experience in local markets.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough localization QA, providing detailed feedback on product content, user interfaces, knowledge bases, etc.
- Content Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate and optimize content suitability and quality for local markets, including proofreading and optimizing press releases.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with various internal teams to produce high-quality content, contribute to linguistic assets, and document processes for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Support: Assist other teams (Content Writing, Communication, UX Writing, Customer Support) as needed.

**Job requirements**
- Expertise in writing, editing, localization, and transcreation.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEA, privacy, and information security.
- Proficiency in English (C1-C2) and German (C2).
- Familiarity with CAT tools.
- Autonomous, adaptive, problem-solver.
- Proactive, quality-focused, curious, meticulous.

- Communication & PR: Communication Managers, Brand Communication.
