**Scientist (f/m/d) Infectious Disease**

**Your responsibilities**:
- Direct research projects to develop and evaluate mRNA-based vaccines against infectious pathogens of high medical need
- Design, execute, interpret and document in vitro and in vivo experiments to characterize the immunogenicity of mRNA vaccines
- Coordinate collaborations with industrial, academic and funding partners
- Devise and evaluate research strategies with a strong focus on intellectual property protection
- Present and discuss data with diverse stakeholders and at scientific meetings
- Prepare and review experimental data and reports for scientific publication and regulatory submission
- Support cross-functional projects within the various teams
**Your qualifications**:
- PhD in Life Sciences with relevant postdoctoral experience in academic, pharmaceutical or biotechnology settings
- Strong research background in virology and immunology, preferably with a focus on infectious diseases
- Experience in the field of vaccine development is a plus
- FELASA B qualification preferable
- Proactive, structured, efficient way of working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize numerous different projects
- Excellent team spirit, communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
