**Duties**:

- Debriefs selected HUMINT sources possessing information of intelligence value.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and executes Military Source Operations IAW Dept. of Defense Directive (DODD) S-5200.37 and other policies/directives in support of Combatant Command.
- Conducts HUMINT operations and activities with Army Intelligence units and other DOD or U.S. Federal Agencies.
- Reviews collected information for completeness and produces clear, concise Intelligence Information Reports and other associated intelligence-related correspondence and supporting graphics derived from debriefing activities.
- Determines appropriate measures in complex situations in which requirements of governing directives cannot be met.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
- Civilian personnel of the Department of the Defense are not exempt from this provision. Therefore, as a condition of employment, selectee will be required to sign a form acknowledging understanding of this provision.
- Position may require employee to wear uniform and/or protective clothing.
- Will be expected to live in field or austere conditions.
- May be required to work irregular shifts/hours.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 10% or less of the time.
- This position is considered Non-Combat Essential (NCE) in support of the Army?s mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increased tension and mobilization and could be assigned to any location worldwide.
- Employees assigned to NCE positions must sign DD Form 2365, stating as a condition of employment, they understand the conditions described above and the requirement to maintain certain levels of medical, security.
- Performance, conduct, and overall fitness that make them suitable for assignment to an austere and stressful environment.
- Failure to perform the duties of this position in an emergency may result in appropriate action - defined as separation for the efficiency of the Federal service under the procedures contained in 5 CFR 752.

- Prior Federal Service Employee- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experiencemproviding oversight of Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations in a specific area of responsibility; also includes experience interpreting HUMINT policies and/or regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
