We are seeking a driven and experienced Head of Communications to join our vibrant team. This role will be pivotal in shaping and advancing our communications strategy, enhancing our firm's brand visibility, and supporting our portfolio companies with strategic communications initiatives.

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Cherry Ventures’ portfolio companies to design and execute strategic communications plans that effectively convey their vision and milestones.
- Own funding announcements Cherry’s portfolio companies from start-to-finish, with a service-oriented mindset to support our founders.
- Drive the development and management of Cherry Ventures’ brand, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms.
- Oversee the execution of all communications-related activities, including media relations, digital marketing, and public relations, ensuring they align with our firm’s objectives.
- Draft speeches, talking points, presentations, and interview briefings for partners. You define opportunities to promote our fund and our team members to the media (i.e. articles, interviews, podcasts) and events/conferences (i.e. panels, presentations)
- Rapidly adapt strategies and tactics in response to market changes and company needs.
- Serve as the primary communications contact for Cherry Ventures, ensuring effective message delivery to diverse audiences, including investors, partners, and the media.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in communications, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of executing successful communication strategies with measurable results, across leading social media outlets.
- An outgoing personality with a flexible approach to work; must be open-minded and quick to adjust to new challenges and changes.
- A strong focus on execution and delivering daily successes; tactically proficient and capable of fast implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and drive the communications agenda.
- Be an amazing storyteller - convert Cherry + portfolio wins into viral and engaging stories on social media.
