This is a role in the Networking Go-To-Market team that is responsible for growing DACHs (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) commercial adoption of a portfolio of services that includes: AWS Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, and AWS Network Firewall. As a part of this team, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the networking industry and further establish Amazon as the leader in the cloud computing space. You will work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers - leaders in their respective fields - Earning Trust to understand their requirements and turn them into reality. You will also demonstrate Customer Obsession, representing the voice of the customer as you work with product teams to evolve AWS products. Working hand in hand with worldwide GTM specialists, product teams, sales teams, and solution architects, you will help customers leverage the scale and performance of AWS networking to cost-effectively solve their most challenging problems. You will be adept at leveraging a mix of strategic selling skills, business development experience, and scaling through partners to Deliver Results. As the expert in an area, you will also develop scalable motions to incubate new business in target market segments and enable the global field organization to drive the day-to-day interactions that identify prospects for long-term business opportunities. You will use your business savvy to drive revenue, develop sales programs, and identify new workloads, market segments, and opportunities that can be served by AWS Networking solutions. Your background in networking technology and cloud architecture will help customers understand how to modernize their businesses using the networking solutions powered by AWS. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you build sales enablement tools and evangelize the AWS portfolio to our enterprise customers, start-ups, and valued partners. You will possess both a business background that enables you to drive CxO/VP level engagements as well as a technical background that enables you to easily interact with network engineers and architects. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions across organizations. Keen senses of Ownership and a Bias for Action - operating effectively within constraints and developing creative solutions - are imperative. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-performing team of global business development experts. In addition to working with customers, you will focus on incubating new AWS Networking Services and delivering workload-/solution-specific domain expertise to the broader field organization (account managers and solutions architects). To be successful, you will need to analyze and determine key customer insights from business drivers, market segment trends, customer feedback, and operating metrics. Key job responsibilities
- Set GTM strategy for Networking in your Area
- Work 1:1 with customers to help them adopt and better utilize AWS network solutions
- Drive and measure the impact of GTM initiatives
- Partner with Area leadership to engage strategically and accomplish shared goals
- Identify key SI and ISV partners to accelerate networking adoption
- Conduct 1:many enablement sessions internally and externally to evangelize and educate about AWS Networking
- Deliver the Voice of the Customer to the stakeholders such as the WW GTM team and Product teams
