**Head of Publisher Relations**

Ever since 2014, Morressier has been helping a growing number of professional and academic societies harness the power and scalability of the digital world to make scientific research more accessible. We facilitate the connecting of the thinkers and the curious, the inquisitive amongst us, to discover, absorb and collaborate on research. We enable early stage research across our platform from peer review workflows, virtual and hybrid conferencing, research libraries and integrity checks.

We are actively looking for a Head of Publisher relations on a full time or consulting basis who will play a key role in helping develop our brand & relationships within the scholarly publishing industry. The successful person will play a key role in our presence at events and in hosting webinars.

This role would suit a highly networked individual, who is commercially minded, with a deep understanding of the scholarly publishing process including open access models, peer review and research integrity.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee Morressier’s event strategy at key events, writing submissions and inviting panelists.
- Either be comfortable being on stage and representing Morressier or ensuring that appropriate C-Suite leaders are briefed and aligned to key events.
- Responsible for ensuring effective communication with an ability to engage panelists and select the best speakers for key topics of importance to Morressier.
- Represent Morressier in program committees to influence and guide our agenda within industry groups.
- Generally represent our brand at conferences, networking events and other academic events.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments within the industry, helping the Marketing, Communications and Leadership teams craft the Morressier message.
- Own and execute our webinar strategy running sessions on key themes, developing content and working cross functionally to maximise ROI.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Extensively networked in the scholarly community, likely on the committees for the industry leading events
- Extensive experience of having worked in scholarly publishing
- Brilliant communicator who is highly organised
- Some technical experience of working with software solutions
- Ability to work autonomously, supported by the VP of Marketing and other key teams
- The ability to travel and to be available across multiple time zones
