- **Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of Evonik's carbon footprint in accordance with relevant standards and specifications (e.g. GHG Protocol) in an interdisciplinary team
- Further development of methods and processes for recording, analysing, automating, evaluating and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other sustainability indicators
- Advice and support for internal stakeholders
- Supporting audit processes as part of external auditing and certification
- Tracking and evaluating the development of relevant standards (e.g. GHG Protocol, SBTi, ESRS)
- Participation in internal and external working groups and committees
- Identifying potential savings and developing measures and strategies to improve sustainability performance

**Requirements**:

- Completed studies in the field of environmental sciences, engineering, natural sciences or industrial engineering Several years of professional experience in the field of Greenhouse Gas Accounting / Carbon Accounting, especially for Scope 3
- Sound knowledge of the relevant standards including legal requirements as well as methods and tools for greenhouse gas accounting
- Basic knowledge of extensive data collection, processing, interpretation and relevant tools (e.g. SAP, KNIME, PowerBi, ESG tools)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a high degree of independence and initiative as well as very good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for change and new things as well as impact on the topic of sustainability
