Project Controls Lead

Our German team of highly skilled experts work in exciting, innovative sectors, delivering major projects that have a meaningful impact in the advancement of new technologies, improving healthcare services, and contributing to the development of a more sustainable built environment. With rapid growth plans underway across Europe, we have German offices in Frankfurt and Berlin, and a third opening in Munich this year.

We are looking for a **Project Controls Manager** to join **Linesight** **and help us deliver outstanding projects for our clients. Frankfurt has established itself as one of the biggest data centre hubs in Europe, offering excellent connectivity for hyperscale and colocation data centre providers, and is continuing to attract major global investment.

**In this role you will**:
- Assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices and costs to ensure best value for clients-
- Assist in preparing client project funding documents-
- Be a visible leader onsite, assessing engineer and contractor progress-
- Create and manage cost forecasts for key client developments-
- Expertly negotiate agreements with pricing agreements with external partners-
- Manage and monitor project schedules, reporting on exceptions to the plan-
- Prepare owner estimates and lead estimate review meetings-
- Proactively lead risk management efforts and reviews-
- Support the final reconciliation of contracts and purchase orders-
- Update key partners with monthly executive and project status reports, project schedule updates, and project risks**We would love to hear from you if you**:
- Have successfully performed project controls roles including cost control, scheduling and estimating-
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline-
- Have experience in Manufacturing, Pharma, Life Sciences, Heavy industrial, Data centres or Oil & Gas-
- Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing in English is essential, German is an advantage-
