Senior Project Lead | BESS Projects | Munich | HybridWe are supporting a leading European energy storage provider, driving innovation and sustainability across the continent. They deliver cutting-edge solutions that store and intelligently manage energy - helping stabilise grids, integrate renewables, and accelerate Europe’s journey to net zero.As they expand, they’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to take ownership of the contracting phase for large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Germany. This is a critical role where you’ll guide projects to Financial Close and ensure seamless execution of key agreements.What You’ll DoLead the contracting phase of BESS projects, driving them to Financial Close.Manage cross-functional teams in a matrix setup and coordinate all project agreements.Interface with internal teams (Development, Procurement, Origination, Financing) and external stakeholders.Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project delivery.Mentor and guide your team through complex project phases.What We’re Looking For10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in project management within energy, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.Strong expertise in managing complex contracts and achieving Financial Close.Experience overseeing development phases (grid connection, permitting, stakeholder engagement).Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple interfaces (Permit, Procurement, Offtake, Financing, Land Lease).Fluent in English and German.Resilient under pressure with excellent organisational skills.If you are interested then please apply or send your CV to Jasmine.Coates@g2recruitment.com
