**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategic and operational management of the production and warehouse processes in accordance with company guidelines as well as acting as a strong role model.
- Management of the planning, steering and control of the entire operative day-to-day business of production and the warehouse
- Strategic further development of warehouse and production processes with regard to quality, productivity and economic efficiency
- Ensuring and complying with internal and external safety regulations
- Ensuring the capacity utilisation of both departments
- Conception and implementation of LEAN projects
- Carrying out technical investment projects within the given budget, deadlines and scope of work
- Conception and implementation of further automation as well as capacity expansion of the company
- Ongoing cost centre monitoring of work preparation, production and the warehouse
- Interface management with other company units

**Profile**
- Successfully completed technical studies or further technical training as a master craftsman or technician (chemical, metal, etc.) with further training in business administration.
- Several years of professional experience in a similar function preferably in a manufacturing company in the chemical industry
- Operational experience in Lean Management or Six Sigma and LEAN methods
- Demonstrable and extensive leadership skills and experience, motivational strength and persuasiveness
- Strong communication and social skills
- Very good IT skills (Microsoft Office / Oracle / SAP)
- Confident in common presentation and moderation techniques
- Committed and entrepreneurial way of working with an awareness of quality, safety and costs
- Very good written and spoken English
