Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System **(AFATDS), System Administrator **to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide USAREUR HQ input and support to Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS).
- Coordinate AFATDS program office software fielding schedules with USAREUR and report concurrence or request for different fielding dates due to command requirements back to the PO.
- Research and present findings to USAREUR HQ tasking that involve AFATDS and other system interfaces as it relates to improvement of mission accomplishment. (Ex. JADOCS -Target Package Generator interface to improve the TST targeting mission.)
- Train USAREUR Targeting SOP/TTPs to USAREUR HQ users and component visitors as needed.
- Conduct over-the-shoulder training at any time.
- Develop AFATDS quick start guides and handbooks to assist in AFATDS-user operations.
- Consult in Joint Fires integration of multiple functional fires sections and assist in development of Tactics, Technique and Procedures as required.
- Assist U.S. and coalition users in the formulation of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for integrating AFATDS across horizontal and vertical echelons for the sharing of information, data, and battlespace awareness with an emphasis on Joint Dynamic Targeting.
- Coordinate and configure AFATDS for USAREUR bi-annual exercises on classified and coalition networks
- Maintain and keep AFATDS Servers in compliance with DISA security standards, security patches, and updates.
- Adhere to the proper USAREUR G6 process for any change in software baselines on the networks. This would include coordination with the AFATDS Program Office to acquire the proper accreditation and certification documentation (DIACAP/RMF, ATO, formal test evaluations, etc) needed to submit an upgrade package. Once submitted: track and follow up with stakeholders to ensure approval.
- Assist and provide AFATDS expertise to the USAREUR Integration lab for any new versions of AFATDS software. Assistance to include: software installation and configuration, creating test threads that mirror the USAREUR mission, documenting results, and helping to configure new versions with a thin client capability.
- Provide assistance and/or direct technical support to USAREUR component commands as needed.
- Provide assistance to USAREUR AOR FSRs on an as needed basis for mission accomplishment.
- Work with other system administrators to configure AFATDS to external C4I systems interfaces for integration of data and to help provide “total” battlespace awareness from available information. (MIDB administrators, GCCS-J and GCCS I3 administrators)
- Develop software and architecture configurations that support information flow and data sharing between commands and tactical units. Document these architectures for USAREUR HQ configuration management.
- Submit Software Trouble Reports and Enhancement Change Requests acquired from USAREUR HQ and USAREUR AOR users to the Program Office to improve future AFATDS releases.
- Accomplish other AFATDS related tasks as assigned or required (briefings, system administrator meetings, demonstrations, exercise support).

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum 5 years of System Administration experience
- Must have DOD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ce or equivalent)
- Must have ITIL Foundation (required within 90 days of start date)
- Must be able to meet German TESA Requirements
- At least 11 years of IT experience is required
- Must have AFATDS experience or familiarity

**Security Clearance Requirements**:

- DOD Secret, Top Secret, or TS SCI Clearance with SSBI Investigation

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
