Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
- Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

- Education/Experience: MA/MS with 10+ years’ experience or BA/BS with12+ years’ experience
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) and VMWare Certification version 6 or higher (VCP6)
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in managing a virtualized environment in a medium or large-scale enterprise that includes ESX, vCenter, Storage or similar storage technologies.
- Must have at least 8+ years of experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, Windows Servers, and DHCP

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

- Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
