**Your Role**

As Procurement Team Lead (f/m/d) within our Supply Chain Management & Procurement Department you will directly manage, supervise and coach our team of Regional Procurement Managers and Buyers as well as define regional strategic sourcing strategies across pre-defined Flavor categories and sub-categories, in alignment with tasks allocated between Global and Regional Procurement Managers and Buyers.
This Position is a full time role to be located in Holzminde, Germany.
- You monitor business impact and risks of regional sourcing strategy and connect with business community on category where needed.
- You negotiate commercial and supply positions for defined raw materials and identify and negotiate regional supply agreements where appropriate.
- You coordinates volume forecast, market analysis and trend information in line with global best practices and category split.
- You participate in S&OP process and raise awareness to appropriate levels in the organization regarding supply/demand concerns.
- You identify and implement initiatives to improve external / 3rd party supplier base supply security such as approved sources, lead time, etc.
- You support your team in identifying existing and potential issues and improvement opportunities before managing them via dedicated action plans.
- You develop business relationships within key supplier accounts to manage performance, quality improvement, productivity and service level.

**About You**
- You have a minimum of 5 years overall experience within Supply Chain or Procurement.
- You have 3 years’ experience in a Procurement Leadership role, people management experience and experience in raw materials or food.
- You have excellent negotiation skills as well as the ability to collaborate cross functionally and interface with multiple levels of both internal and external stakeholders.
- You have the ability to develop a procurement strategy and roll out the strategy effectively.
- You construct compelling development plans, execute them and encourage people to take roles which expand their career development.
- You are a fluent business english speaker and ideally have good command of another major language.
