As the (Senior) Procurement Specialist for Front-End Chemicals and Gases, you will drive direct materials procurement and lead the sourcing and strategy development in order to achieve a competitive cost structure.

What you will do:
The main focus points of the incumbent will be:
A. Commodity Management
- Provide input into stakeholder scope of requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining a competitive environment
- Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies

B. Cost Management
- Lead commercial negotiations consisting cross-functional international team members
- Establish and Negotiation Plans for high value international projects
- Develop and lead global sourcing projects including scope of work creation, negotiation planning, and driving results which meet organizational goals

C. Supplier and Supply Management
- Manage Supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, technology and service, in order to achieve best-in-class supply base

D. Process Management
- Drive implementation of program tools in order to achieve Purchasing operations excellence

E. Contract Management
- Manage and negotiate supplier contracts in order to have the best terms and conditions for Nexperia

What you will need
- Master’s degree or equivalent is required
- MCIPS or substantively working towards this
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment knowledge of chemicals & industrial gases preferred
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
- Team builder/player, hands on worker
- Experience of participation in /or leading cross site commodity / international procurement projects
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time
- Ability to work independently and with autonomy
- SAP, Ariba, MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills on an international level
