Procurement Specialist

JUMBO Consulting Group is seeking Procurement Managers with experience in offshore wind projects who are keeping up to speed with market changes and challenges. You will join our business to support leading developers with supply chain development, category management, and procurement of major components for offshore wind developments in Germany and internationally.

**Role & Responsibility**

Your role will focus on supporting offshore wind projects in the late development phase, i.e. with pre-FID tendering and negotiations of a variety of packages in accordance with defined success criteria and the project procurement strategy.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans.
- Manage and conduct supplier pre-qualification.
- Draft and negotiate supply and installation contracts of an offshore wind farm.
- Draft, manage and conduct tender evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.
- Provide procurement advice to project's management team.
- Responsible for the interfacing of supporting functions.
- Contract management, supplier follow-up and contract close-out.
- Manage and coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional that is aligned to our vision and excited by the opportunities and challenges of working in a rapidly expanding international business. Ideally you will have:

- A background and experience in procurement management within offshore wind, supported by relevant educational qualifications.
- Experience in a similar procurement or sales management role at tier 1 from either a developer or supply chain, ideally with a track record and knowledge of the balance of plant scope (foundations, cable, substation and/or T&I).
- Proven ability to effectively understand commercial risks to minimise impacts to the project. Experienced in negotiating high cost / high risk contracts.
- Very good communication skills in English, both orally and written. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your package of works.
- Strong relationship building skills internally as well as externally.
- Strategic flair to ensure JUMBO success and development.
- Motivated to grow with the company and in the position.

- Work closely and in collaboration with JUMBO's growing German team and the client(s) project team(s)
- You will also work closely with the wider JUMBO organisation that currently consists of teams across Denmark, UK, Poland, Norway, Australia, Korea and Taiwan.
