Emea Regional Counsel

In this role, you will:

- Conduct legal compliance risk assessments for Intel’s business in EMEA
- Tailor and/or develop Intel policies and practices optimized for local requirements
- Work collaboratively with other ELC Regional Counsel (Greater Asia Region and Americas) to identify common areas of risk and mitigation as well as to implement unique localization activities designed to prevent, detect, and mitigate criminal and other misconduct
- Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with Intel business leaders
- Establish and maintain a partnership with Intel Ethics & Integrity Champions
- Design and conduct ethics and compliance training and communications relevant to the cultural and business needs of the EMEA countries in which Intel maintains operations and employees
- Provide input into and support for ELC programs such as Intel’s annual Ethics and Legal Compliance Training, Ethics Culture Surveys, and other programs
- Monitor compliance by conducting audits in the regions
- Providing sound legal advice on ethics and compliance issues in the region, including EU regulation relating to human rights compliance
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Outstanding judgment and discretion on confidential and sensitive matters;
- The ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make decisions, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous and changing environment;
- The ability to partner collaboratively and objectively within the business unit and across functions; and
- Unquestionable integrity.

**Qualifications**:

- Significant experience as a licensed attorney gained in a similar to this role scope and function
- This is an EMEA requisition which requires the employee to understand and live somewhere within the European Union so as to be co-located with Intel’s business units, leaders, and employees based in EMEA
- Demonstrated work and results in a compliance-related role at a multinational company
- Demonstrated success supporting company business units in responding to legislation and/or regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated results and accountability for regional and/or global programs with a track record of building followership and role modelling of Intel’s cultural attributes of:

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
