twentyAI are currently partnered with an exciting Venture Capital-backed eCommerce company based in Germany who are looking for a Senior Accountant. The position will initially be freelance and is fully remote, so can be done from anywhere in Germany.

They use NetSuite as their ERP, and would benefit from someone who has actively used the system before. Relevant experience in accounting is also important - eCommerce or consumer goods would both be beneficial industries to have exposure in.

**Main Responsibilities**

  • Execute month-end G/L closing tasks efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting policies.
  • Conduct limited technical research and continuously improve processes.
  • Assist with project work and systems implementation.
  • Support financial and tax audits.

**Qualifications**

  • 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed team environment.
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or similar) preferred.
  • Fluent in English (company language) and ideally German.
