(Senior) Group Accountant

We are lookout for a Senior Group Accountant (All Genders) to join our Central Finance team on our journey to deliver amazing experiences.

As a Senior Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial reporting and accounting activities for our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of international accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial information, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Delivery Hero Group and all its subsidiaries. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, treasury, tax, and legal to gather necessary information and ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with our Group auditors during annual audits and reviews.
- Team Player: Provide guidance and training to junior members of the Group Accounting team. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Exciting Projects: Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements as required.

**Qualifications**
- You can work either full-time or part-time.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a strong asset.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in accounting and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Substantive experience either with consolidation, standardization and enhancement of consolidation systems or deferred taxes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software and reporting tools.
- German language skill is an advantage
