**Job Purpose/role**:
Allianz is currently transforming it’s HR Function and strategically invests into building a HR Analytics and Reporting Function. This role will be part of the global HR Analytics Community and as an ambassador you will be sharing a common mission to continuously improve the return of investment with insight and follow through, on where and what actions make the biggest difference.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Data Analysis:
- Combine and synthesize a wide variety of people and business data
- In conjunction with business partners use domain knowledge to create hypothesis about observed trends and possible interventions
- Build predictive models that provide valuable decision support to leadership
- Produce and document code that is reusable by other members of the team Consulting
- Provide written findings that Business Partners and Business Leaders can use to inform their human capital decisions
- Document and Explain findings in a way that can be understood and actioned by these customers
Reporting:
- Assist customers on use of web-based analytics platform such as SuccessFactors (SF) Workforce Analytics
- Assess customer requests and determine where to find the data needed n to respond their HR focused business questionIf data not available, work closely together with team on new data needs and possible loads
- Determine based on reporting requirements related dashboards and scorecards
Data and Team Management:
- Create custom datasets, ensure data quality, deal securely and discreetly with confidential and sensitive data
- Help team develop processes and documentation support its work
- In common data platforms, clarify root causes together with relevant partners in case of data inconsistencies if required based on trend / data analysis
**Experince/Skills/Knowledge**:
- Analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with standard HR reporting solutions such as e.g. SF Workforce Analytics
- Experience with SPSS, R, Python or other scripting language used for data analysis
- Proficiency in descriptive and predictive analytics
- Confident in selecting appropriate statistical model or significance test given data and context
- Familiar with a variety of data mining techniques feature engineering, regression, classification, clustering,
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerExcel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
- Experience working in a virtual team and across cultures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, additional languages optional
- Business awareness & customer orientation
- Entrepreneurial and completely comfortable with ambiguity of role and deliverables
- Knowledge of experimental design, and / or survey design a plus
Knowledge
- Statistical & financial analysis techniques
- Knowledge of HR practices, management, trends or related social science
- Understanding of insurance and / financial services
**Qualification /Education**:
- 1-2 years of related professional or academic research experience.
- Studies in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field experience. Advanced degree expected unless equivalent education and experience can be demonstrated
