- Define requirements and high level design of persistence solution that allow for a temporary and/or long term storage of data, its maintenance and retrieval, for any new or adaption or refactoring of the persistence solution. This includes any forecasting of short-term/long-term OPEX changes during in-life for both on-prem and variants of cloud services rendered.Identify and describe the physical or logical infrastructure required for the persistence solution.Review any requirements in any format pertaining to persistence solution. Provide or review estimations on costs and/or duration for the analysis or implementation of the persistence solution.Provide the High Level Design of security and data protection solutions as part of the persistence solution.Improve the persistence solution quality by assessing alternative solutions especially for scalability and high availability.Design, develop and maintain persistence solution management tools.-
Install and configure the persistence solution and related network components.Administrate users, roles and their rights and privileges.Install, configure and monitor space and capacity management tools ; provision appropriate access to other required stakeholders.Monitor and manage capacity of the persistence solutions.Install, configure and operate of start-stop-scripts and related parameter files.Execute data, metadata and/or resources migration alongside export of persistence solution content.Monitor and report of various elements including but not limited to consumed resources, availability, performance, privileges and rights.Manage database backup-, restore
- and recovery-policies.Installation, configuration, operation, testing, monitoring and optimizing for performance and resource utilization.Re-organisation or relocation of internal solution structures.Proactive Performance tuning of databases using AWS report, etcAdministration and Maintenance of Oracle RAC/Data Guard/GoldenGate Technologies
- Experience on backup and restoration of databases
**Qualifications**:
- Oracle DBA experienceOracle 9i to 12C, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate technologies
- Exposure to SqlServer Database management
