**Position Summary**:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities at Clayton's, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and facilities. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in maintenance management, a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance Management**:
- Oversee all maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
**Team Leadership**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and facilitate training and development opportunities.
- Ensure a safe and positive working environment, promoting health and safety standards.
**Process Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean maintenance principles to enhance productivity.
- Utilise data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the impact of improvements.
- Collaborate with the Process Improvement Manager on key projects to enhance maintenance operations.
**Resource Management**:
- Manage and allocate resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage a spare parts inventory in line with equipment requirements
- Monitor and report on equipment breakdown and response times to fixes.
**Stakeholder Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on maintenance status, challenges, and achievements.
- Engage with external suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Coordinate with external contracts and manage LSA or servicing requirements.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the kitchen or furniture manufacturing industry.
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems (MMS) and computer maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Pay: 60.000,00€ - 70.000,00€ per year
