This position supports the eDiscovery team within the Data & Technology business - one of seven practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

The eDiscovery practice is commonly engaged to assist financial investigations, litigations and disputes, turnaround and process improvement engagements, and other critical business issues. The corresponding team specialises in designing and implementing processes that help clients reduce their data and review volumes. Our professionals provide workflow design and strategy for keyword search, workflow assignment setup, content analytics, conceptual search/clustering, and predictive coding, and work with clients to efficiently extract and effectively analyse client data.

Role Overview:
As Associate, you will be working closely with the project team to become familiar with the clients' big-picture objectives and challenges. You will execute critical project deliverables to ensure these objectives are met on time and with the highest quality. You will be responsible for designing and executing efficient and innovative workflow solutions to address our client’s issues.

**Responsibilities**:
- You will support the team in data identification, collection, preparation, and analysis and collaborate with other departments to achieve the best possible outcome- Participate in the preparation of project plans, work papers, project documentation, progress and final reports at the highest level of excellence- Coordinating with client contacts to provide project deliverables, progress, timelines and advise on strategy, workflow and best practices-
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure accuracy of tasks/deliverables related to searches, review workflow, productions, processing and exports- Work with team leads to learn and take ownership of project tasks- Performing the day-to-day client engagement activities, including interaction with client personnel, internal Ankura team members, and other stakeholders involved in the engagement- Identify, research, and organise information to assess the appropriateness and sufficiency of available data to facilitate effective data access and analysis- Contributing to the overall success of the firm by participating in pitches, developing internal training, and marketing the firm externally to prospective clients

**Requirements**:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Preferred degree in engineering, computer science, finance, accounting, economics, information technology, forensics, data analytics, or work experience in a related field- Possess strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills- Familiar with the EDRM and experience in using eDiscovery products / tools: Relativity Server, RelativityOne, Brainspace, Nuix, or comparable- Knowledge about Forensic software beneficial: EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, BlackBag, FTK, Magnet AXIOM, Autopsy- Experience in data acquisition- Knowledge of O365, Gmail, Microsoft Exchange, eVault, or comparable would be beneficial- Knowledge of at least one programming language (R, Python, SQL)- System administration experience in Microsoft, Linux/Unix, or Macintosh- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.- Strong attention to detail, possessing problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical reasoning skills- Exceptional organisational skills- Team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision- Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously- Experience working in a consultancy environment would be desirable- Willing to travel nationally and internationally- Fluent in English and German
