Design Lead

**What you will do**:

Become part of our Digital Solutions team in Munich, where we work in cross-functional and autonomous teams that co-create products and take ownership from idea to impact.
- You lead and manage a team of UX/UI Designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to foster their growth and development
- You define and drive the overall design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- You collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize design efforts
- You conduct user research, gather insights, and translate them into design solutions that improve user experiences
- You create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts
- You lead design reviews and present design concepts to internal teams and clients, advocating for design choices and usability
- You co-drive the discovery work as part of the product triangle (PO/Dev/Design) for a product that enables companies to take action against climate change
- You identify challenges in the customer journey and develop solutions from different directions
- You take responsibility for all design elements in a cross-functional product team
- You use and improve our design guidelines and design system and strenghten our design values throughout the company
- You drive overarching design topics

**Who you are**:

- You have at least five years of professional experience in the field of UX/UI Design
- You have at least two years of professional experience in leading and managing design teams
- You have experience working in a product triangle (PO/Dev/Design) set up
- You have highly developed design skills that are demonstrated in your portfolio
- You are a strong communicator and can demonstrate the added value of user-centred design to the organisation
- You can break down complex scenarios and find the best-fitting solution
- You have a broad methodological know-how in the fields of User-Centered Design
- You are enthusiastic about new technologies, trends, innovations, and constant learning
- You are an absolute team player, work on your own responsibility and enjoy helping to shape the future
- You are comfortable using design and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Creative Cloud
- You have a very good command of English
