**Director of Technical Presales and System Architecture Europe (M/F/x)**
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Main objective: ensure that all technical concepts and solutions sold by Lawo meet high quality standards, leading to business growth, profitability and customer success.
- Provide leadership, vision and overall responsibility of all aspects for the regional technical presales and system architecture team, keeping product and system knowledge for service provision steadily up to date
- Formulate and execute strategic plans and frameworks for technical presales and system architecture that guide the business to continued growth in line with the global company strategy.
- Drive process development, implementation and constant improvement in close cooperation with all involved parties throughout the customer journey.
- Develop pro-actively system designs and blueprints in close cooperation and coordination with product lines, overseeing the collection, tracking, and formulation of feature requests, driving requirements to the Lawo Product Lines.
- Manage the definition, implementation, maintenance and management of testing processes and infrastructure needed by the system architect team, incorporating all LAWO products and common 3rd parties to evaluate and verify integration concepts.
- Full responsibility for the budgets (if applicable) and KPI targets of the team.
- Hold team accountable to stakeholders and company policies.
YOUR PROFILE
- Higher Education / University Degree in engineering, computer science, broadcast technology, Media or equivalent
- High level of experience in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, IP networking, virtualization
- Track record of leading and managing engineering teams within a global organisation
- Strong organizational, Team building and people development skills
- Passion for structured work and documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging and professional way of interacting with customers
- Driving technical meetings, being able and eager to communicate with the Customer, Sales, System Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering, etc. is a key part of the role
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Readiness for international travel
