Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Our Finance Team develops cross-functional finance solutions that support the whole organization. Our experts support the planning, prioritization, and implementation of daily and strategic initiatives and tasks, acting as business partners, an essential part of the Finance Team's role is also providing guidance on accounting or financial matters, sharing broad experience and an independent economic perspective

This person will work closely with Mondu's Data Analytics Lead. However, this position is highly dependent on cross-department communication mainly with Finance, Risk, Data Science, Product and IT.

**‍ ‍ What you’ll do**:

- Develop and maintain the company's business intelligence and internal reporting systems, including dashboard creation and internal report development as well as support in data modelling and database design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify requirements and create reports that meet their needs.
- Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and make recommendations that drive business decisions.
- Provide support to end-users for reporting and data analysis needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by establishing and maintaining data quality standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for business intelligence and internal reporting processes and systems.
- Mentor and train junior team member

What do you need to succeed in this role?
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence in a financial or insurance industry, with a focus on data modelling, database design, and report development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and experience with one or more business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
