To support our faculty, we seek to fill the position of a

**Faculty Assistant (f/m/div)**

on full-time (40 hours/week) basis.

The contract shall commence as soon as possible and is initially limited for 2 years.

Your tasks:

- Classical assistant activities such as travel planning and accounting, appointment coordination (meetings, congresses, conferences, events incl. administrative handling and billing), contact management and general correspondence (German and English) incl. translations on a small scale
- Teaching and examination preparation, in particular course organisation, provision of teaching materials, announcements and grades, including support for enquiries about the e-learning platform
- Editing of texts
- Administration and maintenance of internal databases including literature databases as well as the website of the faculty members
- Budget monitoring and auditing
- Interface to central administration (e.g. finance, administration of third-party funds, personnel department, etc.)

Your profile:

- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship (as a foreign language secretary or equivalent) or a Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in dealing with literature databases, literature searches and the usual literature and text administration programs (e.g. EndNote, LaTex etc.) is desirable
- Experience in the handling of Learning Management Systems / LMS (e.g. Moodle) and Campus Management Systems is desirable
- Very good spoken and written knowledge of English (business fluent) and German (at least B2); additional foreign language skills advantageous
- Organisational talent and ability to work independently
- Communication skills and distinctive team spirit
