Tasks We are seeking a Strategic Designer to join our team, who will develop transformative solutions through deep consumer research and insightful design. You will be part of our interdisciplinary team of venture architects, product specialists, marketing experts, and all kind of tech developers. Strategy and research - Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to strategically frame, validate, or challenge other research forms. - Initiate future-visioning investigations through trend analysis and scenario planning, designing new experience models and capability sets. - Derive insights from customer research and market analysis, bringing them to life through personas, customer journeys, and more. Collaborative design and development - Design and facilitate immersion sessions with multi-disciplinary teams, including clients. - Employ divergent design thinking techniques for the conceptual development of innovative products and services. - Iteratively design, test, and refine disruptive products and services, ensuring alignment with strategic and consumer insights. - Articulate design strategies and insights across different business areas, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. - Stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies, injecting continuous innovation and creativity into the design process. User Experience Focus - Enhance user experience by understanding and designing for the entire user journey, ensuring a seamless and positive interaction. - Develop prototypes and validate concepts early in the design process, enabling quick iteration and refinement. - Exhibit adaptability and resilience in navigating uncertainty and rapid changes within the design landscape. Commercialization - Align with technologists and business stakeholders, understanding and contributing to the business and operating models. - Size value opportunities and create value cases, partnering with venture architects and product managers to deliver strategic value. **Requirements**: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, business, psychology, strategy, marketing, or related fields. Relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus. - Experience: Proven track record in delivering real-world user experiences and tangible products. An portfolio showcasing diverse human-centered design projects. - Skills: Expertise in ethnographic research (quantitative and qualitative), product prototyping, and testing.
