Finance Specialist/ Accounting

We are looking for a talented Accounting Specialist (M/F/x) who loves crunching numbers and has a keen eye for details. Besides taking over the day-to-day accounting duties you will have a direct stake in shaping the future setup of our financial organization and processes. Being part of our Finance team, you will work in close cooperation with Stefan, our Finance Manager, and Roman, our CFO. Furthermore, you will be in direct contact with all colleagues and help them to solve their daily finance-related problems.

Tasks
- You will independently process all business transactions
- You will manage journal entries to ensure proper recording of our business transactions
- You will prepare banking runs to ensure timely payment of all vendors
- You will support with budget planning and forecasting
- You will assist with the preparation of our monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement
- You will help with accounting and finance projects

**Requirements**:

- Completed vocational training as a financial accountant, accounts payable clerk, tax clerk, or academic degree in the field of accounting, controlling, business administration, or similar
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of a common accounting system, preferably Datev
- Experience with German GAAP and ideally German Tax Law
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in German and English
