Tasks

**As our new Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for**:

- Checking and verification of accounting records, assigning expenses to accounts and cost centers
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, follow-ups with customers and suppliers on payments
- Preparation of payment release and approval process
- Maintenance of masterdata information in the accounting systems
- Issuing of sales invoices and forwarding customer orders to our logistic partners
- Ensuring warranty costs are recharged to our logistic partners in accordance with contractual obligations
- Assisting in the month-end closing finance / accounting activities-related topics
- Supporting the budget process as well as the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Supporting the operations team on inventory counts and reconciliation

**Requirements**:

- University degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Confident in oral and written communication in German and English
- Knowledge of German commercial and tax law would be an advantage
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
