We work close together with business, management and all other stakeholders of the company. Our mission is to enable Trade Republic to provide the best service and the best product to our customers in the existing legal framework. This is an everyday challenge getting the best out of us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Take the lead on data protection within Trade Republic and manage with a high degree of autonomy tasks assigned to you
- Support our rapid growth by finding tailor made solutions for cutting-edge projects which will not cause delay but promote our mission
- Proactively look out for ways to mitigate data protection risk in all phases of product development and throughout the organization
- Liaise with external advisors, act as a liaison with the data protection authorities and conduct data protection audits
- Collaborate with the entire legal team on other “allrounder” topics as they emerge

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You are a German fully qualified lawyer and have completed the first and second state law examinations with above-average results
- You already have at least 3 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification data protection experience in a renowned law firm and/or in an international company (relevant experience as in-house counsel is considered an asset)
- Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is as natural to you as paying attention to every detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English, ease to communicate with stakeholders, both internally and externally
- While you are an expert in Data Protection you also bring expertise and experience in financial markets and products to the table
