**Duties**:
Under the direct supervision of the Visa Unit Chief, the Consular Associate is assigned a wide range of responsibilities in the Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) Unit. The jobholder provides consular services to U.S. and host governments, Congress, and other parties. Must be able to secure and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (3) years of office administrative experience is required with at least one year of consular experience.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: General understanding of U.S. policies related to consular visa operations.

- Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:

- Fluent **English** (speak, read, write).
- Limited Knowledge **Russian and/or Ukrainian** (speak, read, write) This may be tested

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
