The Process Engineering Leader (m/w/d) is leading the plants team of process engineers and process specialists. The Process Engineering Leader will develop and provide safe, sustainable and cost-effective improvement solutions for safety, quality, production & maintenance and will closely work with the teams of European Engineering, IPS Management as well as Digital & Automation to develop & coordinate the continuous improvement project pipeline of the site.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Continuous Improvement / IPS - Identify, develop and provide safe and cost-effective improvement solutions for manufacturing team resulting from operations data analysis, root cause analysis and audits. Support implementation of Lean Six Sigma as well as IPS tools and methodologies in alignment with the IPS Manager Europe.
People - plan and coordinate team resources. Lead, coordinate and participate in local and global manufacturing excellence groups.
Networking - Build strong local & global networks integrate innovations and best practice quickly. Working closely with all departments of the European Manufacturing team. Use and further development of networks within and outside the organization, e.g. to support plant development (e.g. authorities and associations)
Development & Capabilities build - Knowhow development and sustainable transfer to relevant stakeholders e.g. engineering, maintenance, operators and other locations. Continuous development of the team to ensure strong team of experienced engineers & process specialists
Project Management - Coordinate and implement minor projects from concept to operations including start-up and training. Integration of new products and production processes. Find and integrate innovative solutions and new process technologies.

Master in engineering
Experience in Process Engineering & Project Management
Minimum 5 years with first experiences in people management
**Industry knowledge**: Engineering, Production within food, pharma, chemicals
German & English fluency, both written and spoken

**Desirable requirements**:
Six Sigma Skills as Green Belt or above
Knowledge of food safety requirements & process safety
