The Service Delivery Operations section is in charge to deliver stable operational services in a cost effective and adequate manner for all IT infrastructure and Platform services. It also covers the process and cross functional topics as well as IT provider management for the external operations providers. It is accountable for incident and problem resolutions as well as configuration and change management with a clear focus on continuous service delivery optimization, performance and quality in line with our overall sourcing and digital transformation strategy.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist for our global service System Monitoring. The position reports to the Head of Subsection Automation and is responsible for the System Monitoring service operation.

**Your job**
- Overall DESIGN, BUILD and RUN responsibility for the service System Monitoring including planning, rollout and maintenance of the selected tools globally
- Steering System Monitoring technology providers and ensures compliance with all given specifications
- Analyze the System Monitoring market and concrete requirements with regards to necessary changes of the owned technology
- Plan, realize, administer and operate all changes of the System Monitoring technology
- Develop technical architecture roadmaps and processes to ensure that the technological lifecycle is managed within the organization
- Define high-level technical models, and prepare business cases in alignment with the IT security and quality guidelines.
- Driving global infrastructure projects including the work on business cases for approval, funding and prioritization
- Support creation of technology strategies to optimize use of tech. resources related to hardware and IT platforms
- Main support contact for the System Monitoring Service Manager
- Working closely with the Automation tower and within the ongoing datacenter transformation project
- Aligning with overarching topics and projects within the Service Delivery Operations Tower
- Driving of service improvements as well as industrialization and standardization of operational processes on a global level aligned with the transformation program
- Advising the System Monitoring service as SPOC for all operational topics

**Your profile**
- Several years of relevant professional working experience based on technical oriented education or studies
- Experience in IT, preferably with sound knowledge of System Monitoring (especially Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and MicroFocus Operations Manager)
- Familiar with developing and implementing change processes or business plans and excellent organizational skills
- Extensive know how in operating large IT environments, ideally in connection with external service providers
- Professional level in provider management in an outsourced service with off-, near
- and onshore delivery
- Excellent service and client focus, a driver of System Monitoring topics and experience in stakeholder management
- Working collaboratively and effectively in an international group dynamic, often virtual; proficient in agile ways of working
- Very strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to think and plan strategically
- Known as working under pressure, being proactive, bringing a self-driven attitude and a high level of commitment
- Excellent command of Business English and willingness to travel internationally on occasion
