The Role
We are searching for an
IT-Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d)
to manage and optimize virtual infrastructures, oversee backup systems, and provide third-level IT support. The role also involves troubleshooting, configuring VPN solutions, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Third level IT support remote and on premise.
• Manage and optimize virtual infrastructures (VMware vSphere), Citrix farms and network systems.
• Design and implement high-availability, critical IT solutions.
• Oversee bare-metal servers at data centers and manage backup systems (BackupExec/Veeam).
• Manage and supervise Microsoft Entra/Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and configure VPN/RAS solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
• Customer communication via phone, mail and ticket system for ticket processing.
• Interface between internal IT, consulting, and external customer IT
• Create and maintain documentation while managing incidents and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Requirements

• You have a completed vocational training in the field of computer science with a strong focus on IT infrastructure or studied in a similar field.
• Expertise in one or ideally more of the following areas: VPN/RAS solutions, VMware vSphere, Citrix, Windows systems, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networks, routing, scalable system architectures.
• Expertise in Microsoft enterprise technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Entra-ID) and knowledge of current Windows (server/prosumer) operating systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good written and spoken English skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
