**Position overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Derive product profiles from market needs and develop/adapt products accordingly
- Global responsibility for initiating and managing projects with internal and external partners across technologies
- Track and communicate relevant and current scientific and industry trends
- Support the business in IP activities, create new IP and screen third party IP
- Build up and maintain strong relationship to institutes, universities and industrial partners of relevance

**Required skills and experience**:

- PhD in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry or similar, or Master degree in the respective area combined with experience in a relevant industry
- Quick grasp of new and complex technological areas
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- Strong ambition and will to venture out into new technological areas
- Highly structured approach to manage projects and activities
- Very strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking
- Well-developed feeling for business opportunities
- Basic IP management skills
- Fluency in German and English
