What it is about

As our Head of Finance you will be responsible for running all money related matters You will be our first point of contact for banks, tax consultants, accountants, insurance companies and many more. As we are a growing company, it will be a beautiful balance of working hands-on, solving complex riddles and strategic thinking.

What to expect
- Close collaboration with our Management Board.
- Responsibility for external and internal reporting.
- Leading the preparation of annual financial statements in cooperation with external tax advisor.
- Preparing national and international accounting as well as managing tax, legal and insurance matters.
- Helping internally with financial insights & planning in cooperation with leadership team.
- Full responsibility for liquidity planning & management.
- Supporting in due diligence and M&A processes.
- Optimizing internal controlling and reporting processes as well as analyzing key operating figures.
- Being in charge of and introducing current and future financial tools and systems.
- Owning our buying processes (negotiations with suppliers and other companies).

Financial visionary

You will have knowledge of all the financial apparatus and tools available to a business like Fashion Cloud and how they can be best leveraged for the success of the company. You will have had previous experience putting together or contributing to advanced, complex financial models that were executed in order to deliver an ambitious growth plan.

Strong negotiator

You will be a strong negotiator, able to manage a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders from financial institutions, investors, and international suppliers. Empathetic by nature, your ability to listen, to resonate and challenge will enable you to quickly get to scenarios which are a win-win for Fashion Cloud and our expansion plans.

Clear communicator

The company is looking for someone with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to challenge and be challenged. You will be comfortable putting forward your ideas with conviction in a constructive manner. You will not be afraid to say “No” when you feel it is necessary for the greater good of the business. Your enthusiasm, positive personality and ability to connect with people will be key in developing relationships both internally and externally at all levels of business.

Next to that...
- You bring a high motivation to take responsibility and make decisions.
- You have several years experience in finance & accounting.
- You worked in a tech scale up with similar size (150+ employees) before, ideally in the SaaS industry.
- You are familiar with investor relations, financing rounds and what it takes to successfully manage a M&A process.
- Ideally you have good general knowledge of legal topics.
- You bring initial leadership experience - you'll have one direct report.
- You are fluent in German & English communication.
