Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive based in the Munich, Germany area to drive business growth and strategic partnerships across Europe, with a strong focus on the DACH & Europe, Middle East, Africa regions, in the food safety, pharmaceutical innovation, and life sciences sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow Addium’s client base in food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and innovation labs across the DACH and broader EMEA region.
- Serve as the regional lead for client acquisition, retention, and account expansion.
- Deliver consultative sales solutions that address client needs around safety, compliance, and operational transparency.
- Collaborate with internal R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams to tailor proposals and deliver customer-centric value.
- Stay current on relevant EU/EMA/GMP/ISO22000 regulations and communicate Addium’s value in meeting compliance standards.
- Attend key industry events, trade shows, and support on-site client engagements and product demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- Based in or near Munich, Germany, with ability to travel regionally across EMEA.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the food safety, pharma, biotech, or regulated life sciences sectors.
- Proven ability to sell technical or scientific solutions, ideally involving instrumentation, sensors, or SaaS platforms.
- Solid understanding of European food and pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, EMA, EFSA).
- Fluent in French, German, and English; additional regional languages a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field (Master’s a plus).
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with QA/QC, R&D, or regulatory affairs teams on the client side.
- Strong consultative selling skills and comfort presenting to scientific or technical audiences.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with Addium’s U.S. headquarters.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
