**Summary Role**: Senior Product Architect Digital
Maxeon is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Senior Product Architect as a critical member of the new Digital Products and Services team. As part of Maxeon’s the digital leadership team, this role will be responsible for the technical lifecycle of all of Maxeon’s digital products and platforms for roof owners as well as installers, distributors and partners. In addition to development leadership the role will define and lead the future technology roadmap and direction of Maxeon’s digital portfolio. Being pragmatic in choosing the right technology stack is just as important as advocating for user-experience and performance. Core responsibilities include leading the development of digital products from a technical perspective, developing a scalable platform approach that can serve as a basis for service far beyond the panel, discovering and evaluating new partnerships, technologies and integrations, leading end-end-end architecture as well as leading engagements with technical and development partners or vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the end-to-end architecture and technology strategy for digital products and platforms
Shape Maxeon’s technology vision and deliver a roadmap of products, platforms and integrations
Engage with Partners, Developers, Architects, Product Managers and Project Managers to facilitate, design and evolve Architecture for the Maxeon’s digital portfolio
Lead the development teams that develop, launches and maintain Maxeon’s digital products
As the portfolio grows, build and manage a highly skilled, diverse team of products architects
Have a broad, company-wide view of the deployed technologies and tools with varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
Ensure alignment between business strategies, information technology roadmap, and technical and tactical deployment teams.
Lead the delivery of the Architecture designs and solution strategy
Evangelize long-term technology strategy to the development and product teams
Define success metrics and consistently measure the impact of your work.
Lead and coach the development teams, both internal and external, through agile sprint cycles
Constantly driving challenge-based collaboration to spur a high-performing culture that will develop high-quality products.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ideally 10+ years of experience in designing, architecting distributed systems, and building complex enterprise level SaaS on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
Experience in virtualization, containerization, OS, system administration, networking, infrastructure, storage, and distributed computing.
Experience in cloud-native big data platforms, data modelling and data analytics.
Being an ecosystems thinker, being able to conceptually connect dots between interdependent models
Being a self-starter, thriving in a team environment and accepting constructive criticism as part of continuous improvement in the design quality.
Experience working across multidiscipline and the Agile way of working
Ability to define and communicate the “big picture” in terms of the overall integrated solution (both functional and technical components) and break it down into smaller manageable work units.
Experience with platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
Experience in Emerging technologies including Serverless Architecture, distributed computing, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML
Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations.
Well versed in building product-quality software on native cloud platforms
Solid Hands-on experience in designing for high availability, multi-region cloud architectures using virtual networks, availability sets, affinity groups as well as DevOps pipelines.
Solid grasp of modern technologies and integration architecture disciplines such as hybrid cloud, API’s, streaming technologies, event-driven systems, self-service data platforms and analytics
Solid understanding of cloud security, Active Directory, Federated AD with Market leading SSO solutions.
